Hold it in your bare hand, touch the base just right, and boom—instant illumination. Others can try… and fail.

The secret? The bulb operates on an internal battery and lights when a metallic object bridges contact between the silver base plate and the ridged metal sides of the bulb. A coin, ring, foil, or paperclip will do the trick. Simple, visual, and immediately magical. Instructions are included, and the handling is well within reach of beginners (ages 8 to adult).
