Paper to Pants Tear
Paper To Pants Paper Tear
The performer shows two pieces of colorful tissue paper. He tears them in half and in half again. By this time, the audience can almost guess that he will restore them. Maybe they even think that he will make a paper hat. Imagine the chuckles when instead of a hat, a pair of paper pants are produced! A little embarrassed, Magician insists that this is a hat and placed it on the head of his assistant or his own head for a great laugh!
Comes complete with instructions, enough to perform 12 times.
Features:
- One Dozen Sets Ready to Use!
- Easy to Do!
- Great for Stage Magic with a Kid Volunteer!
Another way to present this effect with children*:
The magician invites a small girl and boy to the stage, around the ages of 3 to 7 works best. Then he promptly tears two pieces of tissue paper into small pieces. A few magicial words and a wave of the magic wand (you might use a Breakaway Wand or A Break Away Fan for a few extra laughs) and the paper is not only restored but has now turned into a large paper hat. The hat is placed on the girls head, and the magician proceeds to make a hat for the boy too. Oops, he says the wrong words, or waves the wrong wand, the Magic Fan breaks, etc. and when the paper is restored this time, it's a pair of female panties.
*To perform this routine you'll also need a Set of Paper Hat Tears, found elsewhere on this site, along with the pants Tear described here. In addition, you may want to have The Break-Away Wand, Break-Away Fan or other gags to extend the length and laughs o the routine. If you need advice & suggestions, feel free to contact us.
Skill level: Beginner. Suitable for ages 16 to adult.
